
What, I ask, is the objective in patiently picking up broken fragments and painstakingly gluing them together again? and telling yourself that the reconstructed whole is as good as new? What's broken is broken. Are you not better off to rather remember it as it was when it was at it's best? Who knows life may send one just as good or even better, your way.
